Exciting Big Four Vacancy ... Transaction Support Executive vacancy based in Cambridge.
The Transaction Support team of this Big Four firm aims to assist clients throughout the whole transaction process. Whilst traditional financial due diligence is a key element of the service, transaction support is much broader, incorporating assistance with strategic transaction assessment, including commercial due diligence, transaction management, negotiation and documentation, and post-completion integration.

The regional offices combined employ approximately 300 people including over 20 partners and directors, indicating the breadth of our expertise and the demand for services in the area. Locally they are being developed as the UK centre of excellence for transaction work in the consumer products sector, particularly hospitality and leisure, food and drink and travel. Also served from these offices are clients of various sizes within a range of industries. A significant amount of work comes from full and AIM listed clients or new listings. In the Cambridge market place clients include fast growing life sciences and technology companies. The Cambridge team is also being developed as an IPO Centre of Excellence. The local TS Team currently consists of 20+ technical staff, including one partner, one director and five assistant directors. The team is expected to double in size over the next three years. Their continued success has strong growth plans, which means that they are currently seeking high performing experienced professionals.

Job Responsibilities:
- Robust analysis of the financials and assessing the impact on the transaction.
- Play a participatory role in business plan initiatives (e.g. key accounts, recruitment, client service framework).
- Understanding the key business drivers, co-developing their approach with the client, agreeing value measurements with the client and providing value to the client through their services and support and the deliverables produced.
- Regular liaison with the target as well as the client at all levels.
- Work closely with members of the team, sharing responsibility for the project, providing support, and communicating all issues, conclusions, and one's progress.
- Involves gathering, verifying and analysing information, and formulating views and conclusions.
- Participate in the preparation of deliverables including reports, presentations and discussions with the client
- Develop internal and external networks through personal contacts.
- Understand the capabilities of the firm and look for opportunities to sell additional services to our clients.
- Liaise effectively with other departments and with other advisers.
- Take responsibility for own learning and development provide coaching to others, and participate in upward feedback.
- Share your technical and other knowledge with your team and the department and draw upon previous experience.
- Identify and understand key business drivers

- Thrive on close teamwork, including sharing responsibility for projects. This will also involve effective liaison with other departments and other advisors.
