    As Graduate Analogue Electronics Engineer you be working within multi-disciplinary project teams on client assignments, you will help to design, implement and test electronic hardware encompassing high performance analogue electronic circuits.

    As a member of a project team working on a client assignment, you will be responsible for completing specific tasks within the time-scale and budget agreed with the project manager. As you gain knowledge and experience, you will take responsibility for progressively larger and more complex tasks. Opportunities to move into project management or commercial roles are likely to arise as your career develops.

    Activities may include:

    Designing analogue and digital circuits for use in different sensing systems
    Working with our team of PCB designers to design circuit boards
    Specifying and sourcing components
    Testing and evaluating prototype designs
    Researching and reporting on the capabilities of new and existing sensor technologies

    The successful applicant need not have direct industrial experience in these areas, but will be expected to demonstrate the skills necessary to become able to carry out these responsibilities as an individual and also as a team member.

    Minimum requirements:
    A good first degree in a relevant engineering discipline
    A solid foundation in analogue electronics design
    An imaginative and inquisitive mind, eager to learn new skills and to develop solutions for interesting and complex problems
    Strong mathematical skills
    Good communication skills, both written and verbal

    In addition, any experience of the following will also be beneficial:
    RF circuit design
    Digital circuit design
    Power supply design
    Graduates with industrial experience or recent graduates with relevant academic course experience are welcomed.

    Due to the nature of the work, it will be necessary to obtain security clearance for the successful applicant, and therefore the applicant must hold UK nationality.
