Our client one of the leading providers of specialist games services to the global games sector, nominated for Best Games Service Provider at the ME Awards 2008 and was a Develop Industry Excellence Awards 2008 finalist are seeking QA Tester(s) in the following languages:-
Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Dutch, Russian, Polish and Portuguese.
The position will involve in-house Video game testing at offices in the UK.
This could be any type of testing from functionality, localisation, compatibility or guideline tests on any Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo platform, mobile or PC.
All problems (bugs) found will need to be written up clearly and concisely.
Main duties and responsibilities:
To test the assigned project to the highest standards.
To ensure all bugs found are reported correctly.
Ensure that the highest standards are met even with tight deadlines.
Skills required:
High level of game playing skills.
Good level of communication skills both written and verbal.
A keen eye for detail
Ability to write clear and concise reports.
People skills
Computer literacy, word processing, database handling, record keeping, good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PPT, PDF
IT skills must be competent. This is a technical role and candidates
