Our client is seeking a highly skilled consultant with excellent mechanical engineering skills to lead demanding development projects and build new business to join the team. The candidate will have first class technical and communication skills, experience at leading large multidisciplinary projects and an interest in and aptitude for developing business.
The Role
· Make significant contribution to technically demanding technology and product development projects in a technical and project management capacity.
· Take the lead in client communications and management.
· Take responsibility for best in class project delivery.
· Identify and pursue opportunities to develop new business through individual and team creativity and building relationships with international clients.
Qualifications
· Mechanical engineer with a 1st or 2.1 degree from leading institute.
· Track record of commercialising complex mechanical systems or technology in an industrial setting and delivering technology-based projects against challenging timelines and product requirements.
· Excellent market awareness and capability to develop new market opportunities for technology.
· Very good communication and team skills including leading multi-disciplinary science and engineering teams.
