    We are currently looking for a high potential assistant controller to play a lead role in maximising the effectiveness of financial controls and recently consolidated processes within our Mother and Childcare business - Philips AVENT, part of the Philips Consumer Lifestyle sector.

    Based in our state of the art manufacturing facility at Glemsford, the controlling function is currently in the process of implementing and stabilising new transactional processes, as well as providing financial reporting and commentary to support business decision making.

    This role is based in Glemsford, Suffolk, UK


    Your responsibilities will include the following:

    Assist financial controller with regards to industrial footprint strategy and business plans (e.g. Capex)
    Analyse monthly results, prepare MBRM comments
    Build and improve management reports
    Provide tools and methods to support result analysis and performance monitoring, analyse, deploy and initiate corrective actions
    Participate in planning processes (AOP, RoFo), determine scenario's
    Assess, review and support improvement of overall F&A processes, internal controls, quality of the information, and assist with necessary documentation
    Represent financial controller in her absence

    You will be able to demonstrate a fast track career within financial control and/or accounting, with a clear evidence of initiating and driving change and improvement activity. In addition you will also have the following skills & qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Business administration, MBA, CIMA or ACCA
    Advance knowledge of Excel
    Working knowledge of SAP R/3 and BW or similar ERP platform
    Motivated, proactive, result oriented
    Clear focus on career and professional development & learning
    Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    Good communication skills
    Ability to drive projects
    Knowledge of the changing market atmosphere.
