Job Description

Based in Cambridge the Principal Electronics Engineer will contribute to major development projects in a technical lead or project management role, focused on the development of innovative medical device technology.

Key skills to include: Analogue Design, Embedded Design and Digital Design, with a knowledge of Sensors and Medical Devices. Based in Cambridge the Principal Electronics Engineer will contribute to major development projects in a technical lead or project management role, focused on the development of innovative medical device technology. As Principal Electronics Engineer, you will take the lead working closely with other electronic and software engineers and be involved with the hands-on product development and design of electronic systems. Your strong creative and technical skills should allow you to make a significant contribution to development of the medical products. The successful candidate will have an excellent first degree in electronics or physics, with a proven background in an Electronic Engineering role. A solid knowledge of analogue, digital and Embedded systems is required, preferably within a medical device company. Other areas of interest include Optoelectronic Sensing systems, Motor control, Power Supply Design and Signal Processing (with DSP/FPGA's). Deep market knowledge and extensive contacts. Personal representation, strong ethics.
