Product Development Specialist - Scientific Instrumentation, Phd
An excellent opportunity to join one of Cambridge's successful start-up's working the evolving field of Scientific Instrumentation.
They are looking to recruit a Phd qualified scientist/engineer with 5 years or more years experience of developing scientific instrumentation and who has worked within a regulated industry.
The role is to develop technically demanding instrument projects, participate in client interface/management and take responsibility for 'best in class' project delivery.
You don't need to be an academic genius, however a Phd or equivalent in Physics or Electronics would be very useful plus a number of years' experience in the development of scientific instruments. Additional experience of mechanical/electrical engineering, coherent optics or optical modelling tools (Zemax) imaging would be useful.
