Job Description:
Our client is looking for extremely bright Engineers who have a passion for solving complex problems. Their technology depends on their own knowledge base of the world\'s knowledge stored in machine understandable form, which is used to answer users\' questions. The role is about developing new and existing tools to enable the mass population of this knowledge base from external sources of knowledge. Some of these tools are major software applications for which new techniques are being constantly developed.
Requirements:
Suitable candidates for the role of Software Engineer will need to have:
- 3 years in an engineering environment using Object Orientated (OO) languages in at least one of the following; C++, PHP, Java and with at least one year\'s experience coding database-driven applications (preferably MYSQL) in PHP using an Object Orientated style.
- Experience working to integrate third-party resources is preferred
