Job Description:
The Science and Systems Group at our client is a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers. They develop leading edge technologies such as microfluidics, optics, micro-mechanical devices and products such as medical diagnostics, fuel cells, displays, sensors, for a range of markets from healthcare to consumer products.
They are seeking a highly skilled consultant with excellent mechanical engineering skills to lead demanding development projects and build new business to join our team. The candidate will have first class technical and communication skills, experience at leading large multidisciplinary projects and an interest in and aptitude for developing business.
Requirements:
Suitable candidates for the role of Consultant in Mechanical Engineering will need to have:
- A 2.1 or better degree from a leading institute.
- Track record of commercialising complex mechanical systems or technology in an industrial setting and delivering technology-based projects against challenging timelines and product requirements.
- Excellent market awareness and capability to develop new market opportunities for technology.
- Very good communication and team skills including leading multi-disciplinary science and engineering teams.
