Job Description
New opportunity with a highly successful design consultancy which is focused on transforming new design, technology and ideas into commercial success for a range of Clients in the Consumer Electronics, Healthcare, Industrial and Cleantech sectors. This is your opportunity to join a technical consultancy that\'s going places!
We are seeking an exceptional design professional to develop their product design practice within the larger technical consulting business. The challenge is to offer customers integrated innovation, a capability that combines design thinking with in depth technical creativity.
The role requires the ability to convince senior executives of the value of innovation and to identify and capitalise on consulting business opportunities. Applicants will be able to show a track record of design lead business development with blue chip clients, delivering excellent projects on time and to budget. The successful candidate
will have experience in Front End innovation and an empathy with the challenges facing major consumer brands to meet growth targets. They will possess the hands-on skills needed to lead and inspire our design team and to deliver a maximum return on our clients investment.
Requirements:
A track record of business development in a design lead sector preferably in a
consulting environment
Strong communication and presentation skills
Business acumen
Creative thinking and concept generation in a brand focused environment
Ability to manage and develop a design team
2:1 or higher degree in Industrial Design or a related creative discipline
