Process Scientist - CambridgeshireA leading manufacturer of Metal-Organic Chemical Vapour Deposition equipment has an exciting opportunity for a Process Scientist to become part of the award winning Process Team.Working for a global organisation you will enjoy a challenging and varied position. You role as a Process Scientist will involve travelling to numerous destinations across the globe to to provide customers with on site Metal-Organic Chemical Vapour Deposition (MOCVD) growth demonstrations and providing process/hardware support to existing customers.As a Process Scientist you will also be responsible for providing technical support and advice to customers, supporting the sales and marketing team, attending conferences and performing process demonstrations of Metal-Organic Chemical Vapour Deposition (MOCVD) systems.The ideal candidate will be educated to degree or PhD level in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science or equivalent. You must have a good understanding of semiconductor physics, specifically optoelectronic. You will also have experience using flammable and toxic gases and you must have also experience of semiconductor characterisation equipment.
