Job Description

Head of Commissioning - Adults Learning Disabilities Swim require a Head of Commissioning to work in Cambridgeshire for the next 4-6 months. The role will be to lead, develop and promote County wide commissioning strategies for the improvement and delivery of services for the following groups:* People with Learning Disabilities * People with Physical Disabilities and Sensory needs and people living with HIV/AIDS * People requiring equipment or adaptations through the Integrated Community Equipment ServiceDuties:* Lead the development of effective commissioning strategies based on individualised care in order to underpin and support the delivery of quality, timely, cost-effective services to service users and informal carers. * Provide professional and managerial advice to, and work with the Service Director in order to ensure the continuous development of the Strategy and Commissioning Service* Plan, recommend, monitor and review budgets for commissioning in order to be able to exercise financial control and report performance to the Service Director to enable effective management of the overall budget for the whole Service.
