Job Description

Working with a new generation of micro-electromechanical MEMS Micro-hotplate devices that are used for a variety of applications including gas and pressure sensing, you must have a broad range of experience in electronic instrumentation, PCB design (basic) and assembly. You will be responsible for test and measurements of packaged devices using PCB interface boards as well as performing wafer-level measurements and sorting the devices on waffle packs. The position involves building proto-type devices which require bonding samples on package options. As part of a small, start up team, you will be expected to participate in a wide variety of technical roles and come up with practical solutions in this new technology area. Depending on experience, all necessary training will be given. Ideally qualified to A Level in a scientific or engineering (electronics) subject, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent. The client will also consider a recent graduate with excellent hands-on skills that are relevant to the role
