Job Description
Our client, based in Cambridge is seeking a Software Engineer with an excellent working knowledge of .Net (Winforms and/or Web Apps). The successful applicant will have a background in software application development, engineering or welding and a knowledge of databases such as Access, SQL, or Oracle.
The role of the Software Engineer is to develop our client's new generation of core applications in .Net applications with SQL and Oracle databases. You'll develop software for the engineering, production management and risk management markets.
The role encompasses the full product lifecycle, from requirements through to delivery with technology experts and eventually on to maintenance and end user support. In addition to working on these innovative new products, you will be supported in achieving certification for your chosen technology area.
You will possess excellent working knowledge of .Net (Winforms and/or Web Apps). You should also be able to demonstrate knowledge of databases such as Access, SQL or Oracle, and have a background in software application development, engineering or welding. You will be required to demonstrate your ability to develop GUI's and code specified calculations or rule based systems including architecting software solutions.
