Full Description:
We are looking for an experienced Sales person to join this fantastic team based in Ely, Cambridgeshire. This company is a leading solutions provider specialising in the design, manufacture and marketing of fitness equipment for commercial and consumer use. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling their fitness equipment to a variety of health club facilities.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


• To contact customers and prospects in accordance with the Company Guidelines maintaining and building client relationships

• To actively generate sales of CPO (certified pre-owned) equipment

• The post holder reports to the Direct Marketing Manager.


You will also be responsible for carrying out the following tasks (although this is not an exhaustive list):


• Identifying and converting all leads and enquiries into CPO Sales as targeted

• To work closely with the Territory Managers/Channel Managers.

• To ensure that the “Company Standards” are followed for every call.

• Develop a segment of the Database as specified by the Sales Support Manager.

• To develop and build knowledge to understand the Territory Market within the leisure industry.

• Utilise the computer system to maintain the Territory Database and ensure all records are kept up to-date and that all calls and information are logged and reported against the requested activity codes.

• Report on a monthly basis the activities within the Territory.

• To attend exhibitions/events, when required, to represent the company


PERSONAL QUALITIES:


You will ideally be coming with some previous Sales or Telemarketing experience and will have an adaptable and proactive approach, always remaining positive, self-motivated, target driven, and a team player. We need someone with lots of enthusiasm and energy, someone that enjoys working in a busy and challenging environment. Excellent communication and data entry skills are vital for this position as is an organised and functional approach to day-to-day administration.
