You will be responsible for completing measurement, build, strip and layout of new products. Assisting with the complex technical investigation of both current and future products and components. Working closely with engineers to ensure timely delivery.
Job Role: Contributing to the development of new products and manufacturing processes
Performing product and process maintenance
Investigation and resolution of technical issues
Mechanical verification and validation analysis of existing and new product
Assist and support Product Engineers and managers in delivery of product programmes
Undertake complex measurement of both components and systems
Record build and strip measurement data in the appropriate form
Improve product quality through the active reporting and resolution of concerns
Working with other sections to maintain, develop and improve the facility.
Skills Required: Experience with application of technical practices.
PC literate, familiarity with MS Offîce suite.
Ability to update and maintain records as required
City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Mechanics, Apprenticeship served in Motor Mechanics, or equivalent qualifications.
Mechanical / electrical experience on diesel engines with an understanding of the common rail fuel system.
