Our client is looking for someone who has a strong technical background in engineering , preferably time services rather than academic.
Your duties will include;
- Revision and upgrade of practices and processes, in line with the companies continuous improvement programmes.
- Manage the Quality Control staff - coordinating the test procedures throughout the manufacturing process.
- Liaise closely with internal departments with regards to existing product problems and processes.
- Implement and drive quality improvement strategy.
- Ensuring ISO 9001 compliance - leading corrective actions where necessary.
- Preparing for ISO audits, acting as primary liaison for Auditors and customers.
- Record, analyse and report quality related issues.
- Ensure maintenance of the QC equipment and manage associated budgets for improvements.
- Overall Health & Safety responsibilities.
- Liaise with internal managers which will include the MD, Production Manager, Purchasing and Stockcontrol.
Hours are 8.30am - 4.45pm Monday - Thursday finishing at 4.15pm on Fridays. You will be entitled to 21 days holiday plus 3 days at Christmas and Bank Holidays.
