Pathology Assistants
Part Time - £10,120
Full Time - £17,250
A part-time and full-time position is available for hands on individuals, to assist in a busy pathology department. On a day-to-day basis, you will be:
Packing Pathology samples for collection and delivery to the Hub hospital.
Managing units of blood in the hospital blood bank and moving stock.
Printing off Pathology Reports and distributing them to consultants.
Using basic laboratory equipment.
Excellent communication skills are essential. Previous experience in a laboratory is not essential as training will be given, but it would be an advantage to have worked in a healthcare environment and be computer literate. Experience in Phlebotomy would also be desirable.
