Our client is looking to appoint an Industrial Fellow to provide strategic, technical and operational expertise to help SMEs and Early stage manufacturing companies to grow and become more competitive.
Main purpose of the role:
To work alongside SMEs providing manufacturing capability and strategy expertise to enable firms to improve operations, grow revenues & margins, build capabilities and manage costs.
Disseminate the tools which have been developed to:
Help SMEs improve their business and functional strategies; and enhance their business processes and capabilities.
Help UK and overseas business support agencies implement and apply the tools
Promote the Membership scheme and manage the relationships with its SME Members.
Work closely with researchers to inform research programmes.
Experience required:
The ideal candidate will have ten to twenty years manufacturing industry and ideally, but not necessarily, consulting experience.
A good understanding of manufacturing business and sectors
A good understanding of the development and delivery of strategic and operational improvements to manufacturing industry
Strong interpersonal skills, including relationship building, communication and facilitation.
Qualifications required:
Candidates should be educated to degree-level
Salary £Depending on experience
